Send photos by email to William Jenks at wsjenks@iastate.edu in any format or give him a CD or DVD. We will produce the preview thumbnails. If you want to pre-reduce your photos to reduce the file size, set the width to 800 pixels.
Tips for good action photos
- Try to focus on a few players or a single player and the ball, rather than a large group in the distance.
- Typically, more foreground and less background is more pleasing to the eye.
- Use fast shutter speeds.
- Take lots of shots. No one needs to know you took 300 pictures to get 4 good ones!
