Gary A. Eyles (515-360-5117, garykix@mchsi.com) is the Director of Coaching for the Ames Soccer Club, having joined our ranks on December 1, 2005. Gary brings a wealth of experience to our club. He was the first and only Director of Coaching at the Urbandale Soccer Club until he came to Ames, having worked with them for over a decade. Urbandale won over 30 state championships during his tenure, and he developed and administered coaching for all levels of play within that club, from U6 on up. |

Gary's responsiblities include coaching education and selection, supervision of all soccer programs, supervision of our soccer curriculum, coaching, and final decisions regarding placement of players on teams.

Bobby is also the head coach of the Gilbert Girls High School team. Bobby played with the Ames Soccer Club, Ames High School, Central College and the Iowa State Men's Soccer Club. His current full time job is as a System Support Specialist at ICS Technologies, taking advantage of his ISU Computer Science degree.

Erin, who hails from Sandy, Utah, was a 4-year player on the ISU women's team. She also played 4 years of premier club soccer. She earned her BS in Communication from ISU.
Erin holds a D license from the USSF.
Lindsey, who hails from Aurora, CO, played with the Colorado Rush and helped bring home the first women's national youth championship to Colorado. As a result of her national experience, she was recruited to ISU, where she played from 1999-2003, where she earned a BS in Marketing with a minor in philosophy. She is currently a Recruiting Coordinator in the College of Engineering.
Lindsey holds a national D license from the USSF.

Eileen is from West Springfield, MA. During her high school career, they were State champions in 1993, runners up in 1992, and semifinalist in 1994. As an outside defender, her squad gave up only 18 goals in two years. She played was a 3-year starter at Bryant University in Smithfield, RI (where she also played a year of basketball!), and was recognized with the Dr. William T. O’Hara Award given to a senior student-athlete who demonstrated leadership on and off the field. She continues to play actively now. Her full time job is as an Assistant Director of Compliance at the ISU athletics department. She has a BS in Business Admininstration and Marketing, and a MS in Sports Management.

Chris comes to us from Overland Park, KS, where he played a dozen years of club soccer, played high school ball, and actively in intramurals at Kansas State. He is currently a graduate student in the department of psychology at Iowa State.
