This camp provides a holistic approach to the development of our young soccer players. We will train the players both on and off the field to develop their overall thinking and application as a soccer player. The coaches will instruct via a curriculum that exposes players to the four elements of the game:

  • Technical
    • becoming proficient on the ball
    • executing skills even in the most pressurized situations
    • maximizing ability to impact the game
  • Tactical
    • creating better decision makers both with and without the ball
    • teaching roles and responsibilities of positions
    • understanding the strengths and weakness of various formations and systems
  • Physical
    • improving movement within the game (including speed and agility)
    • utilizing their bodies to both protect and win the ball
    • learning how eating, drinking, and sleeping can impact their overall performance
  • Psychological
    • developing a mentality to make the training session like the game
    • dealing with success and failures
    • learning to take responsibility for their own development

Pre-Season camp (August 5 - 8th)

5U - 8U ages 9:00 - 10:30 a.m.

9U - 15U ages 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.

The beginning of the season is just around the corner, so this is a great opportunity for players to dust off their cleats and pump up their soccer balls and get back into soccer action. Coaches will cover a different theme each day as players will be exposed to challenging and fun activities that get players excited and ready for the upcoming season. The ball and players are the focus of all our activities so they will receive plenty of opportunities to experience soccer actions improving their skills and their decision making. Players will learn how to play by themselves in 1 vs.1 situations (either defending or attacking) progressing to how they work/combine with a partner (pairs) and eventually into smaller (groups of 3 - 4) and larger groups (teams).
